The Role
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to own driver-based planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis for a high-growth US company, working remotely from Malaysia.
You will build forecasts that guide decisions rather than fill templates, and work directly with finance leadership and department heads to turn the model into recommendations.
What You'll Own
- Forecasts. Build and maintain driver-based revenue, headcount, and operating expense forecasts.
- Budget cycle. Lead parts of the annual budget and rolling reforecast process.
- Variance analysis. Produce budget-versus-actual analysis with clear explanations of business drivers.
- Scenarios. Model hiring, pricing, fundraising, and growth scenarios.
- Accounting link. Work with accounting to connect operating assumptions to the financial statements.
- Recommendations. Translate model outputs into concise recommendations for business leaders.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or a highly analytical finance role
- Experience owning forecasts rather than only updating templates
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Understanding of the three financial statements and how operating assumptions flow through them
- Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Preferred
- Experience with US companies or global stakeholders
- SaaS or CPG planning experience
- Experience using AI tools in finance workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output
- CFA, CA, CPA, CIMA, or an MBA in Finance
- Experience with planning tools such as Adaptive, Pigment, Mosaic, or Causal

Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement. Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
